It is currently 23 degrees out with very brisk winds ,Im ready for spring .A neighbor out the road from us was blocked in her driveway by downed limbs so I got my tractor out and cleared her driveway ,man it was cold out there .We still have ice covered trees everywhere .

Finally got the lawn mower running tonight. Mowed until 7pm with just a light shirt on. We have no ran in sight through the weekend. I need to get my winter trimming done on the trees this weekend. There are starting to bud already.

Well so far we have gotten through the first wave of snow and we spred 40 bags of ice melt all over campus .The next wave is supposed to be freezing rain and I was hoping to go home at 8 AM and here it is going on midnight and the second wave has not yet arrived . Im going to try to go to bed around midnight for a few hours and see what hits next .I am dog tired after being on the run since 7 this morning ,just waiting for my sleeping meds to kick in and turn my lights out .I am way too old to work this way .

62 at 7 am here in south Fl. Got down to 36 Thursday night. Had to turn on the furnace, electric heaters couldn't keep this motorhome warm. Supposed to be in the low 70's today.
