Default grandsport's winter project

I have been helping grandsport to post some of his pics about his winter "refresh" on his Chevelle. Here are a couple of pics for you Gary. Just wanted to put a couple up so that you can give everyone a little insight. Now it may not be in the correct order, but I just wanted to give you a sampling.

Thanks Nancy. Maybe I got rocks in my head for doing this, but It was better than going to a shrink to ease my winter depression. I gathered up all the hard to find date coded correct parts, and off I went.A month into the project, the cowl, wiper area and door jambs were completed. This month will be for the suspension which will include taking everything off and getting the correct colors applied. So far no problems.

Looks like a lot of fun, Looking good so far. I notice you are missing your TCS relay system.

I guarantee there will be "extra" pieces left over when you get it put back together... I always do. I think if I take my car apart and put it back together enough times, I'll eventually have 2 of them.

The only thing left on the frame is the motor.Getting upper and lower a arms bead blasted and rebushed.Coils were bead blasted and painted with epoxy black.I said the hell with it and bought every new suspension piece possible. This week I have been cleaning up suspension parts and painting them. It's now an obsession . John,I honestly don't enjoy the car show scene. His first and only show in 2011 will be an AACA show in the fall.
