Default The Ghost: detroyer of ricers

to give you a little backstory, my car is a 64 4door with a 305 and turbo 350 (told it was a 350 when i looked at it) that i saved from the junkyard.

ive always been into lifted 4x4s but this car stole my heart when i saw it. the moron i got it from had it for about a year before deciding he wanted to pull the motor and trans but before doing so he asked my co-worker (kris, big chevy fan) if he wanted to buy it

had to add my own carb

i have since installed new front springs, a arm bushings, shocks, carb, throttle linkage, pioneer cd player (in a custom hide away inside the glove box), hood scoop and bumpers ith more to come as time goes on.

my landlord had dubbed the car "the gray ghost" due to the gray primer i sprayed the car in to hide the ugly shades of red blue black and rust. i much prefer "the ghost".

Sounds like a fun ride! I got a soft spot for some 4 doors (probably due to the fact of owning 2 Suburbans). Have you tried to upload pictures to a site like photobucket and then copy and paste the image link to the forum? Thats how I do all my pictures and it seems to work great.

hmm I wish I was better with computers. I know on my boating forum I have to re-size the pictures for them to upload.

The best (IMHO) is to set up a photobucket account (www.photobucket.com) and link the pictures from there. Maybe this should be made a a sticky?

All you have to do is this:

1-create an account.
2-upload the pictures from your computer into an album that you have to create.
3-select the pictures you want to post and it will upload them. It takes a bit so be patient.
4-once the pictures are uploaded and in your album, hover over the picture with your mouse you'll see a box to check. You'll now see that the little picture has a blue box around it.
5-scroll to the bottom of the screen and you'll see in blue text "choose action" and a down arrow, click that and select "generate link codes for selected".
6-this will open another window and then you will see "IMG for bulletin boards & forums". You can copy the link from either the clickable thumbnails or full size and paste that into a thread here.

It sounds harder than it really is, give it a try.

Here are 2 links with "HOW TO" post a picture in a thread.

You can also create photo albums on your profile page and upload pictures directly there and then add them to your threads by using the "bb" code below the pictures. Just click on your name to go your profile page, then look on the right side and you will see where you click to add an album.
