exhaust question
ok guys and gals remember that elky i got to drive a few weeks back? well he is upgrading his exhaust from 2.5 to 3 inch. he is selling me his 2.5 inch exhaust for me to use on my chevelle. i have 2 questions about that.
1) the elky and my chevelle are both 69s will it fit without having to mod the exhaust or the car? 2) the exhaust runs to under the tire i was wondering do they sell the tail pipe part from the muffler to go over the rear axles so i can bolt those on instead?

I believe the fit should be no problem. Adding the extensions over the axle may be a minor problem. Depending on the length of the exhaust pipes and spacing, side to side, a little Fab work may be required. Not a big deal, it can be done, may need to go a shop that can bend the pipes for you.
