I agree, a great start. Can't wait to go along for the ride with you.

Make a good project for you and your son. Looks like it needs maybe a trunk pan and quarters from the rust I see on the quarters.

Only thing missing is the interior. The guy I got it from was hard up for money and sold the interior, which was very nice, for around $250.00. COMPLETE IDIOT! I can't buy trashed seats for that. Oh well, I'm in it for cheap so I can't complain. I put the motor in it Saturday. Here's a pic.

If you put your pictures into an album on your profile page you will be able to post your pictures larger. You just put the BB Code into the message, and your pictures will be larger. A plus too, is that all your pictures will be in the same place. Just a thought.

The trunk is perfect where I can see. We'll see what the edges look like when the quarters come off. That's the plan this winter. The only visible floor rust in the whole car is where the ribbon cable runs under the drivers feet. about a 4"X6" spot. Somebody put a floor shifter in it and it looks like they opened it up with a can opener. I'll fix that when I get the drivers floor.

It is so neat to be able to work on these cars with our kids. Memories that will be talked about forever.
