Default 700r4 valve body help

I just put a 700r4 in my 66 Velle SS
It's not shifting correctly so I hung my head and took it to tranny shop

The guy adjusted my cable and accelerator rod. But he says I need a valve body so it shift more smooth and accurate

Any ideas which valve body I would need?
The trans is out of a 87 S10

Update
The trans guy says I need new valve body kit
I disagree. The car does not shift at the correct shift points
Revs real high before shifting
Isn't that all in weights and springs and not the valve body?

I'm not a transmission expert, at all. I had a local guy take care of mine last yr, for a 27 roadster project. worked flawless, complete rebuild was $600 without a converter

just a thought. how did he adjust the TV cable? how much slack? the cable should be pulled all the way tight, when the throttle is wide open.

If the TV cable is adjusted properly, try lighter weights and springs to lower the shift points.
