Lol . Done got a Deer in the freezer , not killed by me but on my property , almost hit one on te way to work this morning .

That's a good one.

I wish it was hunting season here, all year. The deer eat everything you try to grow, but you can't shoot them because it's a residential area. You want wild turkeys, we got them, you want sand hill cranes, we got them. Foxes, coyotes, got them too. I'm okay with all of them but the deer. Just way too many off them. See them lying on the side of the roads all the time. They bring in sharpshooters to cull the herd in the metro park a few miles from here but we can't do anything about them.

Just spent a week hunting Elk in Eastern Oregon. Didn't even see one elk. Hike about 5 miles a day up and down canyons. Not getting easy anymore to do that. Takes 4 years to be able to draw a tag anymore, can't just walk in a buy a tag over the counter anymore.
