Sounds llike the winter project is getting a little bigger. Once you start it's like the engizer bunny it just keeps on going and going and going. Post some pictures when you can.

Gary,

I hope when your taking things apart, you are putting the pieces, nuts, bolts washers etc into a bag and labeling them so when you put it all back together you do not use the wrong bolts etc in one piece and then realize you do not have a bolt that was to fit something long and it is missing.

Just a word of wisdom from someone that has been there done that.

sounds like me....

but...

gary is a perfectionist. I am pretty sure he has everything, and I mean everything, labels and lined up. I wish I could do that.

Whats next ,when you going to pull the motor ? For someone who said he wasnt very knowlegeable about mechanics you seem to be doing great .I used to enjoy working on my cars but since the arthritis in my left hand has gotten so bad I have a hard time with it .My knowlege isnt much but usually if I can get it apart I can put it back together .I have learned having the proper tools also helps but back in my prime I had very few tools and no place indoors to work. Now I have plenty of tools and an inside place to work if it wasnt full of cars.I took Joans vert to the bodyshop for some minor paint chips and a new windshield so I was actually able to get my 72 Chevy truck inside to replace the gas tank and sending unit as well as the rotten leaky radiator . Anyway just keep on having fun working on HIM and I cant wait to see pics of it complete.Your car was beautiful before you started this project so I can only imagine what the end result will be.I miss your fun drivel on here and elsewhere ,it just aint the same without your usual posts .
